The Palo Santo wood comes from naturally fallen trees and branches that lie dead for 4-10 years before they are harvested.
SAGE VS PALO SANTO: These plants are popular tools for smoke cleansing. Sage is made from the leaf of the sage plant, while palo santo is wood from the palo santo tree. Sage has a very strong scent that may not be for everyone, “Holy Wood” has a sweet smell with hints of mint and citrus. Sage is very smoky and it is recommended for large areas, while palo santo is perfect for personal use and cleaning the house.
HOW TO USE: Tilt the palo santo stick at 45 degrees and light the end of the palo santo until it catches a flame. After 20 – 45 seconds blow it away, so only smoke remains. Place it in a fireproof bowl or in a palo santo holder until the smoke ceases naturally. Walk around with the palo santo to clean the environment. Relight as necessary.
