This week, at the very least one scientific journal has obtained an surprising inquiry from a high authorities official requesting that it element among the pondering behind its editorial practices.
“It has been dropped at my consideration that increasingly more journals and publications like CHEST Journal are conceding that they’re partisans in varied scientific debates,” reads the letter, despatched by the interim U.S. lawyer for the District of Columbia, Edward R. Martin Jr., to the editor in chief of the American School of Chest Physicians journal.
The letter goes on to ask six questions of the journal, largely about alleged bias within the determination to publish content material.
