Myristica philippensis is an endemic tree species within the Philippines which will be present in lowland major forests of assorted provinces and localities in Luzon to Northern Mindanao islands. It has a calculated extent of incidence (EOO) of 182,397 km² and a minimal space of occupancy (AOO) of 84 km². A big tree species with peak starting from 15 to 25 meters (Fairchild 1912) and will be present in lowland dipterocarp forests in its recognized occurrences at unspecified elevation ranges.
