The American Academy of Sleep Medication congratulates the members who had been elected to positions of management through the 2025 election, together with Fariha Abbasi-Feinberg, MD, FAASM, who was elected because the 2025 – 2026 president-elect, and Vishesh Okay. Kapur, MD, MPH, FAASM, who was elected as secretary/treasurer.
Joyce Lee-Iannotti, MD, FAASM, was elected to function a director, and Emerson Wickwire, PhD, FAASM, was elected for reappointment for one more time period as a director. Karin Johnson, MD, FAASM, was elected as an at-large member of the Management Growth Committee.
These leaders had been nominated by the Management Growth Committee, and so they had been elected by voting members. Their phrases will start Monday, June 9, through the AASM annual membership assembly, when the present president-elect, Anita V. Shelgikar, MD, MHPE, FAASM, will grow to be the 2025 – 2026 AASM president.
